Well, I’ve tried Beauty Protector and the Isaac Mizrahi Parfum. The parfum smells delicious. I love it! As for the beauty protector, my spray bottle was defective. It refuses to pump anything out. This means that I had to screw off the lid and use it the old fashioned way- pour it into my hand. It’s mediocre. I don’t think it works as great as some of the John Frieda products that I love but it works better than some of the cheaper stuff that I’ve previously purchased. Therefore, it is mediocre.
As for the tea, I am moments away from trying the Chamomile Citrus. I no longer drink anything with caffeine in it. So, I can’t have the other two. I will be sure to pass them along to someone who might enjoy them.
I also don’t need the StriVectin, yet. So, I am sending that to my mother or grandmother. They can fight over it. The last thing on the list is the foundation primer and I will give that a go sometime tomorrow.
A Small Bust
This month’s box was a little bit of a bust for me because I couldn’t use or didn’t need some of the stuff in it. However, the boxes are usually great for me. So, I’ll take one bad box for $10. Usually, I get way more than $10 worth of stuff and it’s all useful to me. May just wasn’t my month. Oh, well. Enjoy the pictures! Oh, and if you want to sign up or are interested, please use my referral link at the bottom. We both will get points.
I became a member of Influenster a while back. This is the second thing that I have been sent from them. The first box had a TON of goodies in it. The best thing about the VoxBoxes? Everything in the box is always full size. They don’t send you measly trial sized products. You get the full deal. Influenster is AMAZING! I’ll be sure to do a post about them later.
In this box I was given two bottles of a brand new line of Palmolive dish soap that is coming out. At first I thought, “It’s just dish soap. It can’t be anything special.” Well, I was wrong. This soap was great.
The liquid looks almost like concentrated laundry detergent. It’s really thin and watery looking. The bottle reads that it is “ultra concentrated” which is probably why it looks so thin.
The bottle didn’t have instructions on it but due to the “ultra concentrated” words, I figured that you wouldn’t have to use as much. Bingo! I was right. Two tiny drops gave me a sink full of bubbles. The dishes were squeaky clean and my hands felt like I’d put on lotion. I like this stuff!
So, the pros for me are this:
uses less soap
The big con for me is that it costs $3.00 at my local store. I have a dishwasher that I use also. So, I don’t always hand wash my dishes. Therefore, I usually buy something a little cheaper for when I do. I don’t know if I want to commit to $3.00 for dish soap that I won’t use all the time.
Either way, if you hand wash dishes all the time, this is great soap. I’m enjoying it while I have it. The fact that I don’t have to use as much to wash my dishes means that I won’t have to buy any for quite some time. Thanks, Influenster.
Have you tried out this dish soap, yet? What brand do you buy? Leave me a comment and let me know. I’m always up for new suggestions.
This is my first post here. Yay! I have decided to transform what was my old blog into this new and improved blog. Sounds like a great idea, huh? Yeah, I thought so, too. I have another main blog that I use to share my writing, writing tips and other things on. You can find it HERE or on my About Me page.
The reason I decided to transform this one is because I have a lot of readers on my other blog and I don’t want to confuse them when I start posting ‘mommy’ stuff. However, I have a lot of things that I’ve been wanting to share but couldn’t really find the right place. So, I made one right here.
I hope that we can all share some laughs together and maybe swap stories and advice. Being a parent is hard but when you throw in a career, a husband, a zoo and all of the other things…it can be the most challenging thing that you will ever do. However, it is also the most rewarding.
